ORIBS's expansion across Europe
ORBIS Europe, a manufacturer of reusable plastic transport packaging, says it has successfully concluded fiscal year 2025, expanding its market presence across Europe and making targeted investments in new product developments with optimised material composition.
Senior Commercial Director EMEA Jürgen Krahé said the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) places “even greater emphasis” on durability and sustainability, describing this as confirmation of ORBIS Europe’s strategic direction.
ORBIS's Local-to-Local Strategy
Operationally, the company is pushing its local-to-local strategy to deliver faster, more targeted customer support. Following Italy - where ORBIS has been represented by Country Manager Nicola Corciulo since 2025 - the company says Eastern European countries will follow this year. ORBIS also increased participation in selected trade fairs in Italy, Poland and Sweden last year, and plans to exhibit at Cosmopack (Italy), Warsaw Pack (Poland) and Elmia Subcontractor (Sweden) in 2026.
ORBIS highlighted 2025 delivery on projects with higher technical and regulatory requirements, including implemented hazardous goods solutions, the UN recertification of its Ypres, Belgium site, and numerous customer-specific special designs.
The company argues customers benefit economically from the long service life of reusable containers across multiple product cycles, and expects demand to rise in 2026 - particularly from industries with high requirements for process reliability, quality and compliance. It adds that while initial purchase costs are typically higher, durability reduces replacement purchases and can improve return on investment.
