Rubi is a US-based company that produces high-quality natural textiles directly from CO2, for less cost, and completely carbon-negative and water- and land-neutral. Their focus is on the apparel industry, which is currently the third most CO2 polluting supply chain on the planet. Rubi's pure cellulosic textiles are 100% biodegradable and return to the carbon cycle at the end of their life. Rubi's technology uses enzymes to capture CO2 and convert it to cellulose, which is the same material already used in apparel and biodegrades at end-of-life.
