Mycelium Materials Europe (MME) is a Dutch company founded in 2018. They specialize in growing sustainable mycelium materials, utilizing mushroom technology to produce two types of organic materials: MyFoam® and HedelComposite. MyFoam® is a supple and foam-like material made entirely from mycelium, offering a sustainable alternative to leather and textiles. HedelComposite is a mycelium substrate used to create 100% biodegradable products and packaging. MME's innovation lies in their use of mycelium, the root network of mushrooms. This unique material has the ability to break down organic matter, restore nutrition in the soil, and act as a carbon storage facility. Their products have a positive impact on the circular economy and contribute to the development of bio-based materials.
