Biopolix
Biopolix is a Brazilian company founded in 2016 that develops biotechnological solutions for reducing pollution in the environment through the use of bioplastics and biomaterials. Their products include biorresins, bioadhesives, and modified biopolymers for the healthcare, food, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries. Their flagship product, Biox001, is a biomaterial used in the production of biodegradable plastics for flexible external packaging and single-use products. Biopolix's innovation lies in their desire to produce a biomaterial to replace conventional plastic, combined with 25 years of academic research in bioplastics by co-founder Dr. Claire Tondo Vendruscolo. Biopolix is incubated in the Supera Incubator, the only Brazilian incubator ranked among the top 20 in the world.
